Cacao Smoothie

I’m a chocolate and cacao lover. Although I’ve found over my health journey that caffeine and me are not friends, so I do have to moderate how much I eat, but I do find popping it in a smoothie works well for this sensitive soul. I hope you enjoy this favourite smoothie of mine.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup almond milk or alternative milk or coconut water
  • 2 fresh pitted dated (soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes if hard)
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cacao power.

DIRECTIONS

Blend and drink.

Great breakfast or afternoon pick me up.
