Who doesn’t love a sweat treat? I always have home made treats in my freezer for those moments when I want something to nourish my cravings.
Peanut Butter Cups originally from @greenthumbtummy (Instagram)
1/2 cup coconut oil melted
1/4 cup cacao powder
4 Tbs maple syrup
Combine all ingredients well. Separate in 2 and spoon into molds. Refrigerate while you make the peanut butter layer.
NUT BUTTER LAYER
1/2 cup coconut flour
1 cup organic peanut butter or alternative nut butters
1/3 cup maple syrup
Stir together ingredients, adding extra peanut butter or syrup if the mixture is too dry. Spoon on top of chocolate bottom then coat with a little extra chocolate. Set in the fridge!
